 Note: The true colors of this coat of arms is unknown at this time, but was actually colored in by Werner J. Buerke ( Bürki ), based on his conceptions of how he thought it should look, modifying a black and white print that he had in his possession. It's original source is also unknown.

Short History

In the year 1350 Three Bürki brothers emigrated from Burgundi, France to:
Langnau Canton, Bern, Switzerland. First Names are presently unknown.
In the year 1888, Cristian Bürki came to St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
In the year 1927 Werner J. Bürki came to St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Both Cristian Bürki and Werner J. Bürki changed their last name spelling to Buerke.
